Summer Makeup

Hello Bloggers! It's almost summer, and the 

weather is changing, and so should your makeup! Now I'm not saying trash your makeup(because lets be honest, makeup is EXPENSIVE!)

Summer time is when you start to get more tan, and what better way to show off your sun-kiss skin then to do lighter makeup?

Eyeshadow

For the summer you should use more natural eyeshadow colors, like milk chocolate brown, cream, and even a little baby pink! These colors will help make you look more bright and natural.

Mascara

DO NOT LAYER YOUR MASCARA! This makes your mascara clumpy and fake-looking and it causes small black flecks to fall off and smear on your face. Keep it simple and you can buy lengthening mascara to make your eyes POP! And it looks great in pictures

Eyeliner

For eyeliner, replace your heavy black for dark brown. Brown will make your eyes pop, and goes with everything.

Eyebrows

DON'T TOUCH YOUR EYEBROWS!!! Get a professional to do them, believe me you will thank me later. You could accidentally make them too thin or pull out all your hairs and no matter how many people shave/pluck all of their eyebrow hairs, don't do it. Having your natural eyebrows helps when you style them with makeup or are too lazy to actually put on makeup. You don't want to walk around without any eyebrows, you are not Mona Lisa. When coloring/filling in your eyebrows, make them darker then they naturally are by about one shade, unless your eyebrows are naturally dark. If you have light-medium colored hair, darker eyebrows will make you look more sharp and natural. I recommend using eyeshodow or a cream to fill in your brows, and them use a brow mascara. The brow mascara makes it look more natural.

Contoring

 When contoring, keep it simple and light, this will help keep your face look more open, bright and friendly. Highlighting is a great way to to this, and you can use more of it rather then dark colors.

Lips

With lips, you can literally do anything! All lipstick colors go perfect in summer, from baby pink to chocolate brown to deep red. Feel free to do whatever you want, you can even rock the Miranda Sings look if you want(though that could be hard to pull off like she does!)
